I have legal expenses insurance but I want to use The McKinstry Company - can I do this?

Yes. We can guide you through the steps you need to take to have your insurer appoint us to act for you. The decision on which solicitor you wish to represent you is yours. Choose a local expert who can meet you in person and take care of your case.

I am involved in a dispute which I think will result in court action - what will it cost to instruct a solicitor?

We have a range of funding options available, including no win no fee and can provide After The Event Insurance for some types of work. Please contact our office and arrange an appointment with one of our Litigation solicitors who can discuss the range of funding options available to you.

I have been involved in a road traffic accident which wasn’t my fault and a company instructed by my insurers has contacted me - do I have to use them?

No, the solicitor you instruct to pursue your accident claim is entirely your choice and you do not need to use your insurers’ company.

I want to pursue a claim for compensation but I am anxious about costs - do you offer no win no fee?

Yes, we are able to undertake accident claims on a no win no fee basis. We have a range of other funding options available and our Litigation team will be happy to discuss options with you.

Can other firms get me more compensation than The McKinstry Company?

This is something which is advertised by claims companies, however the value of your claim is unique to your own circumstances.
