Bio
Katherine was appointed as associate in our Dalry office in June 2022 . She is an experienced solicitor with over 25 years in practice.
Katherine has worked in a variety of firms in North Ayrshire and Inverclyde before joining the McKinstry Company in June 2022. Katherine trained and practised in Family Law before branching in to the area of Private Client work. She now has a keen interest in all aspects of Private Client matters. Katherine looks forward to developing the Dalry branch of the McKinstry Company.
Katherine can provide help and assistance to clients requiring advice in all aspects of matrimonial law, conveyancing, and private client as she has worked in these areas of law throughout her years in private practice.
As a mother of 3 children, Katherine is understanding and empathetic to the needs of clients and is happy to guide people whether it is in the breakdown of a relationship, contact dispute over a child, or dealing with the death of a loved one.
Katherine has had extensive experience in guardianships and can provide advice to families navigating difficult times when trying to provide care and support for a vulnerable family member.
Katherine enjoys shopping and is a keen walker having completed the Kilt Walk on several occasions. Katherine has a passion for films and is a regular attendee at the cinema.
