A law firm for life

From our Ayr and Girvan Offices

Calum Haswell
Calum is born and bred in Ayrshire. Calum previously studied International Business at Glasgow Caledonian University before pursuing a legal career. Calum’s fascination with law and the legal world directed him to studying law at the University of Strathclyde before joining The McKinstry Company to begin his traineeship at the Ayr office working within the Private Client department. His work includes interpreting and executing the terms of the will and subsequent disbursement of properties and assets.

During his spare time Calum enjoys staying fit and active by going to the gym and officiating football throughout Scotland. His matches can range from Stirling to Stranraer. When not officiating football, he can be found watching more football and going to spectate at the occasional Glasgow Warriors and Scotland rugby matches. Calum enjoys exploring and travelling the globe, having previously studied in Italy and visited Australia, Dubai and more of Europe.
Hannah McIntosh
Hannah has studied at Stirling and Strathclyde Universities before joining The McKinstry Company to begin her traineeship at the Girvan office.

Coming from a rural background in Stranraer, in Dumfries and Galloway; Hannah has grown up working on her family farm. But more primarily for her family’s civil engineering and construction business in the office throughout her time at University. Her interests have therefore been primarily in learning more about family businesses, succession planning and rural property.

Hannah is a member of the Stranraer and Rhins Young Farmers, and spends a lot of time helping organising events for charity and trying to bring younger members into the club. She also enjoys going up to Glasgow to see live music events, and tries to support her local rugby team, Wigtownshire, and take trips up to Murrayfield to watch Scotland as often as she can
